BJP today was firmly behind its leader Nitin Gadkari facing corruption charges, saying the party "encourages" his get on facing any analysis by competent authority.

Concurrently, furthermore, it lashed out at Congress to become "prejudicial" in demanding probe against him but decreasing analysis into corruption charges in the party or against Robert Vadra.

"The BJP party leader has themselves mentioned accusations levelled against him are groundless. He's came out on TV to explain his position. He's themselves mentioned that he's open to any research by any competent authority. The party encourages his view," party representative Nirmala Sitharaman told reporters here.

The primary distinction between BJP and ruling Congress party facing "report on corruption" charges is dependent on the fact while Gadkari has mentioned he's open to any analysis, Congress is running from reacting to questions and is not open to research, she mentioned.

The party representative also criticised Congress for trying to cover accusations of corruption against Vibradra Singh and needed a probe.
